Our story

We make food products from unusual ingredients — fruits and herbs collected in the Zambezi region. Many of them are not grown commercially anywhere and are harvested from the wild.

Ethical sourcing. Our ingredients are collected by people who live in the region. Harvesting is paid work, and it goes to rural communities where regular income is hard to find.

Our partners. We work with AgriEN Network, an organisation that trains farmers and supports vulnerable groups in Africa. Zambezi Botanica is also a partner of WayFina, an agri-fintech company providing financing and improving farmer productivity in Zambia.

Quality and compliance. All our products are certified for sale in the EU. Our company is accredited as a food ingredient operator. Quality certificates are available on request.
